- Lisbon/Lagos is 77 ms RTD. My best estimate to date.
- Shortest latency of all subsea cables between Lisbon and South Africa: 130 ms RTD. Also the most reliable and least expensive.
- Equiano lands not just in Portugal, Nigeria, and South Africa, but also Togo and Namibia. Any sufficiently large ISP in those four African countries should be on the system. Feel free to ping me for a quote. ☺
- Deepest buried African subsea cable: averages 2 meters.
